PRE-K APPLICATION FOR 2026/2027

Round 1 is now open through May 1, 2026.
La primera ronda ya está abierta y permanecerá abierta hasta el 1 de mayo de 2026.

Our online Pre-K application for the 2026-2027 school year will open on Feb. 1st.
Your child must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 30, 2026 in order to apply. We use a computer-generated lottery system to fill seats with those children who meet the eligibility criteria. We do not fill seats first-come first-served. However, we do usually fill after Round 1, so it's best that you submit your application during Round 1.
Round 1 dates are: Feb. 1 - May 1
Round 2 dates are: May 15 - June 5
Round 3 opens on June 25 and remains open throughout the school year.
The application website is:
applytolppsearlychildhood.schoolmint.com
You can also use the QR code to go to the site. If you complete the application PRIOR to Feb. 1st, the system will think you are applying for the 2025-2026 school year. You will not be able to continue because your child will be too young.
The income limits to qualify for the program have not been released by the state. They will be posted on this website under the "Pre-K/Early Childhood Application" tab as soon as we receive them.

Parents of current 3 and 4 years olds in our community are invited to register for our FREE
Bright Beginners
group sessions beginning in February. Contact the Family Intervention Library for more details.

Although all schools are currently full, the application portal is OPEN for Round 3. It will remain open throughout the school year until April 1, 2026. Seats do become available throughout the year if families move.
*Please note that we only have 600 total Pre-K spots. Once they are filled, your application(s) may remain "in processing" until spots become available.
